Abstract: 
The article focuses on the mathematical theories of American mathematician and philosopher Charles Sanders Peirce, focusing on ideas related to imagination, concentration, and generalization in the epistemology of mathematical reasoning. The author considers Peirce's the logical systems of mathematical inquiry, his theories regarding the patterns of scientific reasoning, and the role of experience in creative thought processes. The geometry found in Euclid's "Elements" are used to demonstrate Peirce's theories.
